Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975, is an American actress. Numerous accolades have been awarded to her, including an Screen Actors Guild Award and an Golden Globe, five Emmy Award nominations, as well as a BAFTA nomination. She is part of the Barrymore actor family and the grand-daughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was famous in her early years as a child actress, thanks to her part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. She wrote Little Girl Lost, her autobiography that chronicles her childhood of drinking and drug abuse. In the 1990s she appeared in numerous films, including PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love.
