American actress Courtney Thorne Smith was born November 8, 1967. Her roles include Alison Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to Jim, and Lyndsey McElroy's regular role on Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in Menlo Park in the south of San Francisco. Her father, Walter Smith, was an expert in market research using computers and her mother, Lora Thorne, was a psychotherapist. Courtney seven years old, divorced her father, Walter Smith. She was a part of both parents in different periods of time. She has an older sister, Jennifer who works as an advertising executive. She attended Menlo-Atherton High School located in Atherton, California and graduated Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley in 1985. In the high school, she participated in the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley. Thorne-Smith was the first actress to make an appearance in the 1986 movie drama Lucas along with Winona Ryder Corey Haim, and Charlie Sheen. In the 80s, she starred in a variety of films, including Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II : Nerds in Paradise (1987), Summer School (87) and Side Out (1990). In 1998, she starred in the box office flop Chairman of The Board alongside Carrot Top. In 2009, she starred in Sorority Wars. Thorne Smith has dated Andrew Shue in the 1990s. He was her screen mate from Melrose Place. In June 2000, she got married to Andrew Conrad, a geneticist. The couple broke up in January 2001. Roger Fishman (president of Zizo Group Marketing Company) and the author of What I Know was her wedding date. On January 11, 2008, aged 40 she gave birth Jacob Emerson Fishman, her son. Jacob Emerson Fishman.
